Got this event coming up Friday. Newsagents and gentleman's attire across Manchester have stocked up on Greyhound express and flat caps. Bettie's hot pot and red cabbage is simmering away. And the greyhound trust is on standby to welcome undoubtedly all the three legged mongrels I have a flutter on. Anymore from the norvern hemisphere planning on rocking up on the night?
Myself and me Julie are proper looking forward to it, Gary's bringing Mrs. B and the Jetmadblades and Andy's organising it so he better bloody come! I assume Marion is still attending.
I only just thought about this. Gill asked me what the food is like, and the type of menu, so a quick google and..... http://www.lovethedogs.co.uk/uploads/autumnwintermenu.pdf Looking forward to tomorrow, it will be good to have a catch up.
You know Giv panics Andy. He needs to check the local weather wind speeds so he can acertain the strength of glue he'll need to keep his wig on
Just started my evening with a couple of cheeky glasses of Glenfidich, nothing to do with the forthcoming event, just to calm my nerves for my SIL driving later. See you all soon
Have a good night everyone had to drive tonight but would of been good to have a catch up with everyone , they do nice 4 pint pitchers there so have one for me .
Just like to thank Andy for sorting this for the north west members. As good a night as ever I can remember. Thanks to everyone that rocked up. We ended the night £30 down on the dogs. But as always, meeting and greeting everyone again was priceless. Just in our way home in our Taxi. "SIL" and if he don't maim me, I'll raise a glass to you all when I get home. Cheers

Yup . Great night was had by all .First time at the dogs for us as well .Toilets nice and clean and considering the size of the operation the food and service was spot on .Its a pure re-visiting back to the sixties or seventies event but good fun and won't break the bank so thanks to Andy for organising dare a say " another top Northwest forum jolly" .Good to see you all again .
