As always a top night out with 'proper' nice people, Thanks to all who rocked up to make a memorable night Had a few winners n was up by the last race...........until the bar bill turned up
Lady Luck ! Not sure what I came away with but I think maybe even after paying for drinks and coffee .Wont be retiring yet.
Two highlights of the night was a fox doing a lap of the track whilst they were preparing the dogs on the start line ...and second ,The FireBloke tucking into Pate which had a similar appearance of Spam ! Ha!

JetMadBlade 'Lee' and his lovely wife........err sorry lee fill in the blank "I'm crap with names" Garyb reunited with his long lost twin Barney1 Giv looks at the fox in admiration as he teaches him all there is too know about fine dining, don't worry Giv, I understand mate. Really I do Excuse me, There's a strange chap looking at us. Yes, what do you want? So just a few, as said, not really the place to be able to take many pictures. A great night. Excellent night out chaps! Just to clarify, "the fox" doing a lap of the track was not me, it was a real live fox! I was expecting the dogs to ignore the rabbit and hightail it after the fox! Food was definitely not fine dining, along with my spam pate the salad garnish included carrot peelings and the rest of the carrot was served up with my main course of pork belly! Still it was another memorable occasion for the Northern Massive finished off with a trackside visit in the rain for the last race. Commiserations to me Julie who didn't have a win all night, and thanks to Andy for organising my great idea! If we had groups for organising events like we do "black and gold" and "Welsh firebladers" then the Northern Massive would be winning hands down!!
I actually assumed you had! Last time I went to the dogs two of our lads raced round the track for a winner takes all £50!! They wasn't impressed with us to say the least... That said, we aren't as civilised as you Steve

Top night, cheers Andy for getting this together and the world did not fall of its axis and shit didn't enter the extractor although the bogs did smell a tad of fried onions. Good to meet and greet the above keyboard finger tappers. Her in doors thoroughly enjoyed her self with my money, I did't with the feckin bar prices,,,,, Waiter was funny (E gore) bless him,Mr B shot a few above his head,satellite delay wasn't the word. Nice one hope to see you all again maybe a crimbo night out eg,comedy store Liverpool...along the lines need to get my carpet dancing shoes broke in. Lee
