Yeah I could probably get to 90mph quicker staring in 2nd gear cos I could gun it and not have to change gear. Mine won't do 90 in 1st anyway (I actually don't even think it'll do 90 in 1st on the standard gearing either TBH).
Here's another potentially annoying statement... I could quite happily only ever use 2nd & 3rd gear on my CBR, on the road. Including pulling away from a stop, navigating traffic, twisties and motorways.
