Congratulations on your new bike, remember the feeling when i got my 2012 As has been said it'll run out of petrol when it has counted up to about 3.5 from zero. If you roll off a bit that's about 35 miles. Plenty, and that yellow light is too annoying to look at for long, especially tucked in at night! In bad news, we live in the UK at a time when the jetstream has decided to be a massive dick and it will never be reliably sunny for the rest of our lives. Or so it feels.
After last weekend, I was starting to feel optimistic about the weather. We've had a bit of hail here this morning.
Running in (use that term loosly, Im more of a thrash it out if the box kind of person) I'm getting 9 mpl.
Off topic I like how the new blade has a black subframe with silver frame and swingarm and then the silver subframe with the black frame and swingarm... Interesting detail...
Brisk but not mental riding sees 150 to reserve, I reckon if you go into slow mode reserve will see 30 miles. Quite a range for such a bike. Welcome mate I love my 2012 Blade, Two Wheels in Edinburgh are selling them like hotcakes
Ah, I normally get about 120 before the yellow peril lights up and then its straight to the nearest fuel supplier,I'm guessing around 145 - 150 before I'm pushing then!
Yep, about the same on my 10 plate, I fill up at about 170/175 every 3rd day commuting, clock reads around 50 mpg, mix of motorway, country lanes and long slog through traffic daily.
I went on reserve on my 2008 the dash started flashing But didn't count up or Down just stayed on zero is this normal
