Finally got a new bike!

    nice bike steve,identical to my old one.have to say my bike was faultless until the issue with stall on junctions,roundabouts,all to do with the fly-by wire throttle apparantly,i googled the problem and it is an issue but hey-ho my o8 blade dont burn oil?.

    I had a 2004 it was a brilliant bike, a lot of bike for the cash.

    I am beginning to think that Steve only changes his bike to rub it into the rest of us that he can make a new spigot for his Conjob Stand within a day...

    I only got them finished today actually Ken!
    Works a treat.
    Still not ridden it yet due to the lovely weather.

    Had the same problem for a time with my 08 R1..
    TPS tested and all ok, dealer traced the fault to crap battery (replaced under warranty) that was in 2011.

    Finally got out for my first quick ride on her today.
    Absolutely fantastic!
    Can't wait to get out again.

    Very nice and clean mate! Are they gillies [spelling] rear sets? Was thinking of getting my standard one powder coated gold over winter

    Not yet steve standard J. The decals on the side fairings are heavily stone chipped. New ones need to be purchased and fitted.
    Only had one go so far. The SV felt slow compared to the KTM and Blade so my senses have been dumbed down a bit. I only wound the R1 up to about 11k in first to third and it was an OMG moment. It just feels so fast. I am sure I will acclimatise tho.

    Sure the pace will come back to you, I will be the same on the new blade opposed to the CB1000R, although the Torque is the same so might be ok ? Find out Friday :)

    Still love the R1 soon be up to mrbetts standard

    Yep my Repsol arrives Friday, guess I should of never sold the HRC !
