Some interesting, but predictable, views there. Personally, I'd prefer if the bike specific sections of the forum were focussed on Fireblades as I'm obsessed with them, which is why I joined the forum. I can read/see random bike stuff on many other forums. Maybe posts relating to other bikes could have a section of their own or something? P.S. I always make the mistake (?) of speaking my mind because, if the members don't contribute their views, there is no forum

Personally if I didn't wanna read anything not Honda or CBR I would have read the post title seen the GSXR in capitals and moved on!! It wouldn't be a bad idea to have a none Honda section though as I think their are a fair few blade riders on here who ride other machines. Maybe just to keep it tidy but as I said my bike passion extends past one manufacturer, no one seemed to Mind the pics of the 1199 it was a very popular thread in fact so sometimes certain reactions surprise and confuse me!!!

Outvoted? Key point is that a small number of the sub forums on here are intended for CBRs only and I think that's important. If other members do too, they should say so, otherwise don't complain later when the forum is full of spam.
oops... I will say I work and own many makes of bikes, I think this is the new "divide" that biking has now.. Not a problem for me I get it all the time, when I ride my Zip50 people just walk all over me! thats ok as when I pull up on one of the others I can flip them the bird...lol Just kidding mate, the other thing is the knowledge I choose to share with the forum is based on all makes..
I think what the internet does well is specialisation. A focussed forum is a good forum. A non-focussed forum might as well be Facebook
I see your point, and agree on another section for non fireblade posts, I thought I put the 1199 thread in "coffee shop" as it was not chat related to the blade but general chit chat for new bikes in 2012, I feel that chat re other new bikes is relevant to us all in the interest of motorcycling in general and the forum shares a common interest as we all own blades..
Hey jm1 don't ever think its a mistake to say how you feel bud! I'd rather share my thoughts with someone who says how they feel than a sheep who just follows others just to be part of something. Last night It was insinuated by someone on here I was a troll. ! Lol what a muppet, that's the first time anyone's said that. I come on here with like minded people to share our common interest- the cbr. And if I see something I think needs a comment or I can help someone in any way I'll comment, I would never say I'll do something on a forum then come back on and ask to stay.that's for sure!.
