Great day mildly spoiled by get piss wet through on the way home. These weather people need to got back weather training school if they think that was a light shower. Still that aside it was great and was nice to meet Matrix and Mel. Cool guys with even cooler bikes. Loving your rear tyre Mel, surprised you have any sliders left on your leathers ! Meet up with Carl and his mate on the A1 for an uneventful ride down and so boring I was actually singing to myself. Ride back was a bit quicker and I would say fun but I don't do rain, so it wasn't. Nice day out but its going to take me longer than I was out to clean my now minging bike. Shame we didn't get to meet others but I am sure the will be other occasions. Now going to nurse my wrists and neck so they still work tomorrow. Sent from my BlackBerry 9800 using Tapatalk
I notice that now I'm new here so "Mel" meant nothing to me, didn't link the name with the forum at all. I was just looking for forum stickers. LOVELY BIKE BTW....Stunning
haha, yep.. i have a nicely done rear tyre, leathers are new and so are the sliders, and what with this pissy rain we've been having, i have been settling for getting the bike over but no hanging off, cant be bothered.. Glad to hear you made it home safe and well, if a little wet
I couldn't figure it out who belongs to the forum. Didn't see any forum sticker or a printing behind the screen like IcarusGreen suggested. Maybe we should organize a "private" Fireblade meeting somewhere around London, Aylesbury, Slough etc.. For example this is a good meeting point: On Yer Bike- Aprilia dealer | Kawasaki dealer | MV Agusta dealer |Yamaha dealer
Enjoyed my visit to the smoke, 110 miles down. It was nice to meet up with freedom again for the ride in. Good to meet you mel and matrix, I saw a number of bikes with the forum logo, shame we could all meet? Nice pics guys, Freedom and my blades got on one of icurus's, very bottom of the pic you just got my screen with 1000rr logo in the shot. Burger, chips and a coke cost me £10 is that the norm down there? Get the lot for a couple of pound around here and get change?
Same problem I had. I only joined this week so had no idea of usernames, I was purely looking for forum stickers....didn't see any while I was there (from 09:30-11:15) Hopefully meet some of you sometime over the summer, I'd be up for a southern area meet.
Freedom, I was pleased to help you double the mileage on your bike! Sorry I forced you out and now that beautiful blade is wet and dirty?
Saw loads of bikes but was,nt sure who was who..............I,m a shy kind of guy so I did,nt ask...............took a few pics (cus we just LOVE pics on this site dont we?) It,s a bit like "Wheres Wally" sort a thing.............anyhow..........here we go
Haggler, the one in the red and white leathers on the right in 6th pic down is Gums on the first set of pics
I don't storage all the usernames in my brain neither. My username is on my number plate which obviously nobody saw, Haaaaaa So we have to organize it better in the future.
And just to prove I managed to get there after spending more than 2 hours lost in the "Smoke"...............I minging Blade complete with Top Box!............There were some nice shinny Blades there today...............mine was clean..........but I got caught in a downpour Saturday on the M25 on route to surrey.........she looks very "Second Hand" at the moment.
