First gear bang!!

    What's this "clutch" thing u are all talking about?
    Am I doing something wrong??? :D

    As said u do tend to get a bit of a clunk on any bike going into first but it is lessened by holding clutch lever in for a few seconds before engaging the gear, Also most bike don't like going into first while still moving without a bit of a clunk..

    I have had my Blade for 9 months and the clunk still catches me out
    Now I know its normal
    although I thought i was kinda normal anyway

    If I'm moving, mine goes into first real nice. Just like changing down into any other gear. First bike I've ever had where that was true. First bike where you could ride round town in first if you really wanted as well. :)
