First track day: own bike or hire bike???

    my first and only track day was on my old zx9 at donington in 2006. me and a mate on his r1 hired a van and took both from here in cornwall. was a great experience and glad i took my own bike as its what your used too. hoping to get my own van in near future so would like to do more as its too far from down here if i bin it and /or brake a lever off or summin worse to ride up and back!

    Foooook nothing like planing ahead , why next year ? why not next week :-}} use your own , remember its only a motorbike if you crash fix it then crash it again its all part of the fun

    Lol..I remember dropping my brothers Repsol back in 2005...cost me £1200!

    That wernt fun..lol

    Currently recovering from a knee replacement, been 5 weeks so far
    No riding for me this year I don't think :(
    I wouldnt be able to afford to repair it, I have 2 kids in nappies and a expensive misses bleeding me dry lol

    Well forgiven for the Knee , get it fixed up , tell the misses to get a high paying job as you need to get out there and do some laps or you'll get grumpy and fat and spend every night at the pub
