I like the idea of this. Theres some random ones so I may as well put mine in, not that it'll be much use. Im a hostile environment security consultant so if you need armed protection in the worlds more shadier places, im your man.
Well I am an estimating director with a roofing company. Commercial properties only though, and either flat roofs, liquid roofs, aluminium roofs or cladding. So any advice needed then let me know. Just not slates or tiles though eh ?
You can get cold applied liquid PVC roofs that once they cure are just like a PVc roof, however detailing is so much easier, and its a little more robust than a single ply roof (like PVC sheets). Ideal for straight onto concrete in an inverted situation with the insulation above it. Also good for green roofs. You can also get hot melt roofs which is like rubberised bitumen which is even better for such situations, is puncture resistant, but it requires the old tar boilers etc. We also do green and garden roofs. Basically grass and plants on your roof.
I work for a Sales & Marketing organisation selling and marketing the Nitric Acid and the Demin Water among other Process Chemicals that Andy and his colleagues manufacture for us. If Andy can't help then perhaps I can although not too sure what forum members would do with 28 tes bulk tankers of either Small world aint it?
This is a brilliant idea & great suggestion. I'm still in the mob, on SAR at the moment so hope I don't have to help anyone on here out with that! It does mean that I get to do a whole lot of driving between home (Berkshire) and work (currently Anglesey but shortly Northumbria) so if any one buys/orders anything that I can fit in my car, is flexible with timings, and its not too far off my route (or you're happy to meet me on it) then give me a shout & I may be able to save you some postage.
Dave d has inspired me to add my O/H occupation, just in case you start knocking the shit out of your house..... Builder and groundworker... and a multitude of other skills... .

I'm currently employed as a mobile plant fitter for 1 of the countries larger hire firms, I was formerly a gearbox tech in a well established family business, so unless you need 15 ton excavators working on, I could give advice on car & lgv transmission issues, I just don't work on little things anymore, apart from 1 exception & that's my ride
