Peeps have set up in Oulton the night before, but I guess it depends on each circuits policy? Give em a ring to be on the safe side if I was you.
As I am a latecomer to the forum, I tried to get on this but only fast and novice left, as I have never ridden the new blade yet I don't want to go in fast and I also need to get a baffle or db killer for the can.
It'll be fine, jump in either then move lunchtime. Personally if you run fast at other tracks if go fast, I've never been there but you'll soon be up to speed mate. No room in inters as all the ringers from here have booked it out
Ive booked into the Mega Mega fast group On a more serious note i think i will book into the novice group, however if it decides to rain or they forecast rain i shall come down in the car, would they either give me my money back or credit for another track day on a different day????
105 static or 102 flyby, they dont check your bike before you go on track, unless its really loud, you just get black flagged if you trip the flyby
Lol no chance Matt .. They will keep your cash and Re sell your place to someone that will be waiting with their bike and kit waiting on a cancellation .. You'll be fine in the wet. Short shift as much as poss , be smoother, higher gear coming out the bends and some decent road tyres will have you with your knee down lol.. One of my mates rents an sv650 out for trackdays. Not sure if it would appeal to to you tho . Keep your eyes out for a 600. Some stonking deals to be had. I know you want a thou but worth considering . I found the 600 plenty quick enough . Hope you get sorted tho and get what you want when the time comes
+1 Just had to check the site as my 600 hovers around 101-104db http://nolimitstrackdays.com/uk-tracks/silverstone.html
My R6 is 107 but I have a baffle that brings it down to 97. I could do with another to knock just 2-3Db to bring it just under 105 for racing.
