The black fella in the park has ridiculous core strength he's probably not hugely strong as in power lifter but what he does is amazing I could never do anything near that fir starters I'm waaaaaaay to heavy! I have never been to a body building show I'd be to conscious, the people their live in the gym it's their jobs and them big boys are spending at least £52,000 a year on growth and steroids a year luckily they get their Suppliments free!
A shameless plug on my part but i just started to do some "vlogging" so check out the thread: http://1000rr.co.uk/general-1000rr-discussion/3172.htm or jump straight to video: The Baron has Arrived - YouTube cheers!
I Thai boxed at a high level for 6 years then joined the plod and couldn't make the fighters classes regularly enough and they moaned about the black eyes etc. So looking for something new to do my mate took me down the gym I hated it mega boring but stuck with it, you get bigger and stronger without realising so you have a goal don't realise you have reached it then push on and want more, lots of body builders have muscle dismorphia which is the opposite of anorexia as in I look in the mirror and think I'm quite small and scrawny. I know I can't be but it's how I feel so its a viscous cycle, I do it to keep fit ish and strong ish it definitely help with the job! It's shite though it runs your life and is addictive, I can't imagine I'll ever stop training. I don't think I'm good enough for shows but lots of lads I train with that do do them keep begging me to have a go I was considering it but not this year now with my injury lol
