its not a helicopter mount , its a sony vegas edit. I done the same thing with one of my on board vids.real easy to do using pan and scan edit. youtube has guides on how to do it.
to make a gyro cam use one of these Dunehaven Systems - GS-1 Gyro Servo the braket is the tricky bit then mount a gopro to the front of it. heres how to do it The Motorcycle Gyrocam Project - 3D Printer
To add to Phantom's post [since I was the one who built the setup] it was mounted on an SV650S to try it out. there is some "drift" [centering] but the newer Dunehaven model minimizes that, Example.
was going though our youtube channel and found this , great for a laugh he forgot to turn his fuel on would have felt sorry for him but he would turn up at the races and just wheelie around parts of the track and get in the way

Copy the URL of the video then click the insert video icon along the top of the reply box. Paste the URL into it and insert. That should embed the video straight into the post Martin.
