Can you not disconect the cables from the other end?
If not I take it you have no intention of putting the standard can back on? Just cut, grind, chisel or drill it off

Do you have access to a Haynes manual?
Sometimes they are a god send.

Try removing the whole servo system intact and then once off the bike you can disconnect the cables from the other end and just plug the electrical connector back in to stop the FI warning light.

Or you could remove the whole lot and get one of those chips from the US that fools the bike into thinking the servo is still connected like I did :)

Im confused as to what the issue is...If i can understand i could help as i did this only the other day..and i did not cut anything..

Have you pulled the wires out of the box that is attached to the exhaust? 2 wires? if not you need to use a spanner and loosen the nuts and get the two wires.

Next remove the tank cover and lift up the tank - you may need to disconnect the over flow rubber pipe to get the tank all the way up.

find the two cables by pulling, and pull them right out to the left side of the bike where the fairing is..

Then you can pull them out of the servo (round silver thing) - try not to trun it too much by hand as you may brake the insides of it (thats the warning i was told) but mine did not brake i turned it many time... lol

Do not disconnect the servo plug connector - otherwise you get the red light on your dash...

I should have a pic of under the tank too if you need it..the two wires run under a metal clip - let me know if you need it...

Samuk your servo box was in better nick than mine the bolts were seized to the casing,
anyway this morning traced the wires back to that coil thing on the left hand side and got them out, so yeah all fitted see pics scorpion exhaust pictures by ianwhyatt - Photobucket Now couple of things there is leaks at both joints is this a case of tighten more?? Second on tick over it seems like labouring a bit?

The other pic is off topic just behind the plug you can see a plastic connector this is from the scottoiler which was broken in the accident the other day it came on the bike when i brought it the wire from the oller ran to this point so i took it off and left that in place any ideas if this is going to be a problem??
