AR for me too but not lockable .... Just fitted my mates Lightech filler on his 2015 R1 and have to say the quality isn't as good... Just my 5pence worth...
Simple swap, you get a new pipe with the kit and it just fits inside your original hole...great build quality and finish... Unlike the Lightech one I fitted...
Good to know the lightech aren't as good quality - shame though and surprising as they're stuff is normally top draw.
Got to be honest I was quite shocked too, fitted the Lightec levers as well and not a patch on the finish of my AR stuff.... Glad I didn't go down the same route! Don't get me wrong it's not bad but just not in the same league ... The only other trouble is I had to wait 4 weeks for the AR filler and 8 weeks for levers... But worth the wait
Any more details on the Lightech levers? I was looking at replacing the Brembo one on my RCS with Lightechs so both would match but won't bother if they aren't great.
Is there a problem with the standard one that I don't know about? Why fit something that does the same thing but just not as well. Do look good though but form over function not always a good thing. I would get pissed off trying to juggle the centre when filling up so mibbe just me.
^ this is the issue I have with them. Whilst they look good, not many are hinged. Can't be arsed with juggling the cap and pump around.
About to fit a Harris cap tomorrow and not yet removed the stock Honda one. Once the original is removed is there just the one small hole to slide the vent tube into? I ask because I watched an R1 install and underneath the stock cap there were about 3 small holes and the fitter made a big deal about getting the tube down the correct one! Cheers, Martin
Your know what one is the vent hole as from my recollection it's got some kind of grommet in place. Simple Martin
