Fuel...Whats Best for a Long Standing Bike?

    think it is something about oil not getting to optimum temperature
    on the idle and therefore leaving the bike idling is a waste of fuel
    and effort and is just adding increased stress.they say start the bike
    and ride it easy for the first few miles.

    Id always agree with that same as you mate, now if it were an old desmoquatro duc then you can expect to see a couple of mins go by before ANY oil gets to the top end....lol! Rip that down the road from cold and yer rockers will be gone in no time....lol

    Honda's they dont even need oil....
    (tests done on oil less C90 with large hole in crank....these things just dont die!) ;)

    I remember the trying to kill a c90 video....It just wouldnt die lol.
    I hardly warm up the blade or the 848, just rode it like a Nancy
    for the few miles :D
    thats another thing,I notice the blades auto-choke trys to get you
    to near 30mph asap lol

    Yeah....lol fast idle is enough to get to the shops on....maybe a blag with plod....lol

    Takes getting used to with the duke being the exact opposite
