Have any of you guys used CD Keys at all?
They seem to have some great deals on online codes.

 

Pretty sure I have used them in the past for the eldest's xbox live. They just email you the code.

 

Yeah - I've used them a few times for XBL codes. Never had a problem.

 

Yes could be good if they get the physics right

 

Ok, any thoughts or opinions welcome, especially from people that have both!

I have got an xbox one...but to be honest I swear at it more than i want to...I got offered a good deal on a trade for a PS4!!!
I loved my PS3 and only swapped to bone for a change and cos mates had...but I can't decide wether to swap.
Im 60-40 in favour of swapping at mo, cheers peeps

 

If you want to spend ages starting at the PSN connection screen or don't mind your personal details being shared with the world after they've been hacked - then go for it!

You should know - I'm probably biasd as an Xbox One owner myself

 

Currently downloading Elite Dangerous for the PC, may take some time though on a 2mb connection. I know single player mode got knobbled just before the final release but hopefully it will be as good as the original version that I enjoyed many years ago on my speccy.

Am also trying to get a joystick for it and am looking for a Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X, but they seem to be like hot potatoes and are out of stock unless you want to pay silly money.

 

Got a PS4 over the holidays, although still got my Xbox 360 too.
On the PS4 though. PSN ID is Ratser1000 for those interested.
Playing, GTA5, Walking Dead, Drive Club, and the wife plays Putty Squad.

how you getting on with "Elite Dangerous", thinking of getting it myself?

 

Still waiting for the joystick to come into stock May have to give it a blast with just the keyboard though when the missus buggers off to see her horse

 

I haven't paid to play online yet though.
Will be at the end of January.
Done a few missions now so starting to get used to it again.

 

Yeah it's really good online if you get tooled up, going round randomly killing people, then getting a bounty on you and taunting people as they try to kill you and collect the bounty, until some 10 year old yank kid comes along and wipes you out

Done a couple of the Elite training bits and boy is it old school gaming. Apparently a fair few people are complaining that it is too difficult and they want an easy mode, but oldies are ecstatic that it is like it used to be and that you have to learn the game properly and not just go shooting the universe up

Graphics etc. are good and so far I like it. I've also just got VoiceAttack and some voice packs so that I can partially control it via voice commands.
