I regret getting rid of my SP1, it looked the dogs but I had problems with the handling. In hindsight I think it had been down the road but there was no record of that, probably tracked and then put back for road. It used to run wide at high speed and at the time I just decided to trade it in rather than try to resolve the problem. Great bike, but a lot of people rate the SP2 as being better.

I don't like brakes too much, they can upset the handling and they can slow you down lol

if you keep the front standard 16t and go up +3 on the rear to 45t, this is basically the same as going down 1 at the front

@ Nutty Tart, that is one of the reasons why I can't experiment too much with different size sprockets and want to try and get a good combination without too much cost.......... Oh Yeah.......................plus I am crap at anything mechanical, no matter how simple, so have to pay people to do my mods, yep I should learn but it just isn't my thing. I just love riding them.

I would rather do what I do and go out and earn the money and then get the job done by someone who knows what they are doing and are competent. After all if I am flying along at' X ' speed the last thing I want to worry about is ' what if I didn't do it properly'.

It is also a matter of time as well. Since getting pensioned out of the Fire Service due to an injury I work for myself and the Missus has rheumatoid arthritis and needs quite a lot of help and there is the little one to look after. Plus there is the shopping, cooking and cleaning....It is hard to find time for a ride, so I can't spend a lot of time on the bike trying to muddle my way through something I am not good at.

I tend to get my 'goodies' then trundle them to a bike workshop and get them done in one go. It is an expensive way but it fits my circumstances.

Next time, trundle down to my place and I'll do the work for less than 1/2 price, those robbing stealers will charge ya?
