Wish mine was, last time I bought a helmet from the NEC I put in the glass cabinet in the hallway, the helmet it replaces goes into its box and hide both boxes in the garage, she come home within a couple of hours I'll get a clip round the ear she notices " why have you bought another friggin helmet "

Mine isn't that on the ball when it comes to cars, bikes and anything blokey. So long as she cant see it on her bloody on line banking phone app she wont know. So if its an online purchase use a credit card and then pay it off that way she sees only a payment to credit card company and just accepts it. If its a purchase at a bike shop (like tyres etc) I pay cash , again she doesn't question why I might get some money out the bank.
However if I use my debit card for anything remotely bike related (even though it comes from the same account as above) she goes bleedin mental as its an absolute waste of money no matter what it is......just a waste of money! Its just a routine I have learned to live with.
I am just not brave enough to challenge her and politely remind her that I contribute 60% more than she does into the Joint (read HER) account.
It avoids grief so happy days and you never know one day I might grow some bollocks

 

Being self employed come year end, she is also my accountant and January is a bad month for me verbally.

Today's top tip. If you have the high screen on your blade, be very careful pulling the cover over the mirrors. It is very tight, but will fit with care. You don't want to rip your new cover!

And today's second tip is that if you're fitting the cover to an older bike, the cover is unlikely to cover the front wheel as the relationship between fairing, mirrors and front wheel is different. Not a biggie, but worth mentioning.
