I've been to assen 2 up on an r6 - you won't struggle for fuel - and the ride is so boring you'll want to stop anyway But you'll have the time of your life there. It's unbelievable
I used to tour with a chap who would constantly want to press on and stretch the range of your tank. We had a fuel emergency pretty much every day. Now, I always fill up if I pass a petrol station and I've done a hundred miles or so. If you're in the mountains, it's late in the day and you've done 85 miles since your last fuel and you pass a petrol station, fill up! I rarely have any issues with this policy.
