Don't need the tre one on a European fireblade. Just the basic gi pro is all you need.

    Thanks flatstickHRC,

Just wondered why people were paying the extra for the TRE one.

I remember I used some sticky velcro on mine so if you ever take off the top fairing
( like I did to change the flasher relay for my LED rear flashers ) then you can just pop it off
Not the best pic but its there on the right

How well do the digits show up in direct sunlight, like in the picture?

This might be another reason to tuck it to the right of the clocks like Nutty and others have done as opposed to being on the left of the clocks like I did???

The main reason I put mine on the right is its easier to hide the cable out of site to make it look more like it was meant to be there .
Then you can also put the sticky/velcro pad under the unit rather than on the side (stronger)

if you fit it there (as i have) you need to make a 'step' with the sticky pad to get it on the curved shape of the bracket

stick the thin stick pad on first then stick the thick one on top of that but cut the top 1/3 off it first t make a step

Thinking of going for the yellow (Amber) one as I think this would be the polar opposite of the standard clocks.

I have blue and I think it looks ace! Green (for go!) was my second choice! :)
