yeh you need to try some different types of disposable plugs. you get used to wearing them and you will find it less distracting with no wind howl.
I've had a go at half a dozen or so types of the 'bowfull on the counter' generic ones found at the tills in most bike shops and then tried some Laser Lites but they didn't feel any better.
