Great looking bike, would have been the one I'd have gone for but the Main dealer is a 7 hour round trip.

    Nice bike mate
After a test ride on the 1199 & the 899 I have to say although the 1199 looks trick and is fookin quick, the 899 for me was perfect I would have one in a heart beat.

Love the looks of the 899. Was going to have a test ride but work has been erratic for the past year and I didn't want to fall in love with it and then not be able to afford one.

My Blade is still for sale at the dealers, he said he cannot shift it !!

Gave me too much for it methinks.

Glad your loving your latest Italian red iang.

You are spot on about having to learn how to ride a Ducati, but once you do, boy does it rock your world in a way the Blade doesn't, I am not knocking Blades have had 4 or 5 over the years and may move back if and when Mr Honda decides its time to update a new model.

I also had the Corse stickers added by the dealer at the time I purchased my 1199, I think it breaks up the red and makes the great look of the bike better still.

If you get the chance I would have some Termi's fitted. The standard is a great sound but with the full Termi system like I have it takes the that experience to a whole new level, ear plugs are a must if you run without baffles like I do.

I am generally not very keen on wheel rim stickers but I really like the ones you have fitted, would you mind telling me where you brought them from.

Lets hope the weather improves some time soon, I am sick of going into the garage, pulling off the cover, dusting of non existing dust and putting the cover back..

It took my Ducati dealer ages to move my trade in 2011 Blade despite it being immaculate, very low mileage and full Honda service history. In the end they had to take a financial knock back to get it shifted, in the end they accepted quite a lot less than they gave me or what I offered to buy it back again. I am sure they didn't totally lose out and wouldn't be surprised if they got some assistance from Ducati as the trade in price I negotiated was substantially more against a new 1199 back in September 2013 than anyone else offered or I could have got in a private sale.
