Yeah it's not for everyday use as I'll be using the one on the headstock mostly, but it's good to have a selection of mounts during a ride out.

If your helmet is an R-PHA 10 Plus, then you can also mount it on the chin bar :)
If it's the older R-PHA 10, then it's top or side mount only :/

Just mounted to the lower left hand panel with the suction cup, does pick up a bit of wind noise at speed but hardly any camera shake

    Old style RPHA10 callum.

Like the vid Andy, which software did you use to select only one colour on B&W?

More mounts arrived today, so as I was working on the track bike anyway I thought I would add them.
    Put one on the headstock.

And this is the HESD plate I made for the RR5 that the mount sticks to (yes I know the cam is pointing down a bit).
It's basically a plate with the HESD bolts running through it with a pair of plastic number plate nuts on the underside.

Thanks, Video software is Adobe Premiere Elements 11

Very simple to use, has loads of pre-set filters which can all be applied on the fly

    Nice lid!

Have you got a link for the case please, I feel the need, the need to upgrade my cardboard box

Is that a panning head for time lapse? I have a 1 hour one and 2 minute one made from a pot noodle timer.

This is the mount I preferred at Cadwell. Similar to Colin's, but I used a J-Mount to get the GoPro to sit upright from a vertical mount.

    The J-Mount and tether.

Here's a video from Cadwell that I cut together from all 4 mounting positions (front of nose, facing rear on tail, facing forwards on tail, top yoke).

    .

TBH, I never feel fully confident of those stick-on mounts. I wonder why helmet makers don't produce a hat with a built-in top/front or side gopro mount. Same with bikes. One on the rear and one on the front under a removable, clip-on plastic cover would be nice.

So those using a suction mount.
    Can you recommend a brand/seller ?
I really want mine mounted down side so I can see the front wheel in the video too.
Looked on eBay and they range from £2.99 to £30.
    Cheers in advance.

Are you sure you need a suction mount?
I used a combination of the GoPro extensions to get the cam sidewards off the tail on mine. Just make sure you attach a tether just in case;)

Skip to 3:20 for the vid using this mount n.b. Should have pointed it higher, but gives you an idea.
