Sorry, they're not that good quality are they. Using my cheapo, bottom of the range (not even got a flash!) Nokia windows phone
My top tip for camera phone is a Sony Xperia z1 or higher. I think craple phones use the Sony lens so it's world most use camera lens.
It is doing fine. My iPhone distorts the bike a bit, unless it is flat across the picture. It can make the bit closest to the lens seem bigger proportionally than it actually is - if you see what I mean. Yours look fine.
Your iPhone will be fine. I know nothing about cameras and phones, but in my experience if you holf the camera/phone near to the object then it will be distorted and the nearest bit will seem oversized. That's why I don't take selfies - always looks like I have a huge nose (which could possibly be true, but I'd rather not know...)
Was over to the Blackforrest a couple of years back absolutely brilliant place. Going this year to the Mosel area on the 2nd July from Newcastle. Enjoy fella.
Great for you both - I went Sept 2014 and loved it. Hopefully, the rain will have stopped by the time you guys get there!
25 June to voges then onto andermat area in Switzerland for the passes.. Lots of photos will be posted!
We are on the Hull-Rotterdam crossing on 2nd July. Cochem is our early afternoon stop on the Sunday en route albeit with a bit of a detour to just north of Bitburg. Then it's to the Black Forest area on the Monday, hopefully without rain ! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It just gets odder as the holiday continues. Heading back now, 550 miles today and took the Fireblade for a wade through deep water... Click on this, I was there on the Autobahn A61this afternoon. http://www.swr.de/landesschau-aktue...bahn/-/id=1682/did=17543618/nid=1682/1lkbfaj/ 2 Belgians, 2 Dutch all on adventure bikes and me on my bike were the only ones let through at the time. Tailback was many miles long, people were out of their cars, standing in groups, looked like they'd been there for hours. Never seen a fast fast flowing "river" on a motorway before! Reckoned the blade would be OK at walking pace as air intake is high up and plugs etc aren't exposed. Wonder what surprise is next...
Storms look terrible, at least the blade got through it OK which is the main thing. I bet you developing a deep respect for it getting you through this week. Have you had a gopro with you to capture any of this?
Yes, I've got loads of respect for my blade - it's a doddle to ride and is 100% reliable over 32,000 miles. Back at work today with no aches, yet rode 1200 miles in last 2 days through floods, storms and even spent a good few minutes on the far side of 150mph on the drier bits of autobahn yesterday...
Also meant to say haven't got a gopro, but wish I had taken one - flood ride was quite awesome (literally - I wasn't without fear)
We got stung for 480 euros for a pair of Metzeler Z8's in Salzburg in 2012. Same trip - nearly £500 for a set of Pilot Powers in Istanbul. Just back from Europe and was looking for a replacement Bridgestone T30GT near Kassel in Germany. If we could have waited a couple of days could have got one for 120 euros plus time to fit. Couldn't wait and declined the offer of a 180 euro + fitting for a soft compound Metzler. About 600 miles total from where we were to home and existing tyre is still legal so glad I didn't change. Took delivery of a new Bridgestone T30GT today for £88. Changing tyres in Europe can be expensive!
