We'll been looking around on the net and the cheapest I have found the Aim Solo is £250 compared to over £300 on some sites does look at decent bit of kit though.
For a road bike I would be tempted but not for a track bike as the way it's going I will need to wrap my bike in cotton wool in case I bin it or as firebloke says "when I bin it"
if thats on the AIM website jase, you'll need to add VAT.they are pretty much price fixed,so wont find a new one for less than £300.
Has anyone tried/got feedback on "Harrys laptimer" app for the iPhone with a gps add on like an Emprum Ulitmate GPS, or just using the built in GPS on the iPhone ?
you'll ideally need a seperate GPS unit if your using that, same as racecrono on android as your phone doesn't always keep up or hold the GPS signal.think phones run on 1-2hz whereas units are 5-10hz,this means you need to sync your phone with the unit when you go out,and take your phone out with you.you can get the units for about 50 quid on ebay. i used it for a while but the dedicated GPS loggers are a lot easier and more reliable, but the info you get on racecrono, consdidering it's free,is very good.basically the same formatt as the q-starz logger.
