I don't really think it matters what year we order ,just that we order 10 sets and only pay £200 each. It might be a case of only having 1 delivery address i don't know but we can work something out regardless.
I just bought & fit some pp race rearsets this month !!!( but might still be interested ) I only posted it to show an example of what group buys are about, I was hoping someone else was gonna try beat the price that I got from elsewhere?

If peeps really want to go with this price from this seller then just post your name stating yes and I will wait until we have 10 then get details of people's specific rearset and mail the seller with our requirements.

And me, plus 1 for a mate

Just so everyone knows, I will be getting these within a Month anyways, so if it takes too long to sort the group buy I'll delete my name from the list.

Imhave been on to SMR today and got to ring back this afternoon for a price

Going to speak to slingshot and will try HMmdirectly to see what they can do

Anyone else after a quickshifter? Needto get some numbers on board if were going to get a good discount

They're about £400 but if we can get say a 10% discount that's a good saving.

Just googled HM Quickshifter discount/group buy and both zx10r.co.uk & Gixer Junkies managed to get a 25-30% discount from HM direct.

Does the Blade need an ignition module to go with the shifter

    Not on a HM plus

It's a full kit which goes direct to he coils. Much smaller unit than the DJ set up, no movin parts, you set it up on the bike instead of laptop and is more reliable than the normal style ones

I spotted a brand new scorpion race can for a gixxer in my local shop reduced to clear at 100 bucks. put it on bay and flogged it for 300 lol. so im looking at a new treat for the blade. What i want most is rear sets but im tempted to sell my slip on and put the money together for a full system

Need to get a can im happy with so i can get the bike mapped but i want rear sets first .

Can we try keep this thread just for group buys and not go off topic?

Interest in rearsets so far : Dan1,Fischer +1,Bats,TonyBlue,Clemo

Still need at least 4 more to make this group buy viable, and move forwards with it.

TBH the best way group buys work are all buying together to have more bargining power, but having loads of min group buys doesn't work as well. ie 4 peeps buying quickshifters isn't as good as 10 peeps buying them next month. etc
Maybe we should look at what we are trying to replace /mod over the next 12 months and try have a monthly group buy accordingly for everyone?
We don't all have the same financial backing and having a month to month group buy gives people the chance to save for what they want at a cheaper price, and have knowledge of when the money etc is required . Maybe some people don't want to wait, then fairplay but give it a chance.

    eg

    July groupbuy rearsets 10 @ £200

    Aug quickshifter 10 @ £350

    Sep Braided hoses 10 @ £50

    Oct Levers 10 @ £140

    Nov oil + filters 10 @ £60

    Dec tyres 10 @ £200

    Jan Crash bungs 10 @ £40

    Feb Exhaust 10 @ £ 400

    Mar Wheels 10 @ £1000

    Apr Power cmmndr 10 @ £300

    may lap timer 10 @ £200

    June A weekend in Amsterdam 20 @ £1000

Thats just an example so we can set out with goals and costs and decide where we want to spend our money and when over the next 12 months.:yes4:
