Customer of mine just bought a Firestorm. He brought it in today, bright yellow, bloody gorgeous. Made the noise I reckon the big bang did when it cleared its throat before it...you know. I'm wondering if I could get away with it...
I've decided that I'm going to keep the blade and get myself a SP1. After seeing/hearing the guy round the corner from me riding by almost every night this week, I don't think I can be without 1 now Reason for going with the SP1 rather than the SP2 is that I prefer the look of the SP1 in red.
Ken is a FireBlade Rider Today, while locking his car at work he saw a fat bloke ride past on a V-Rod and thought "Hey, that looks good." Until then he wasn't aware he needed help. If you can spare just £3.30 a month to keep people like Ken away from this kind of temptation by continuing funding of the inline 4 in his life, and prevent him from becoming fat and covered in tassles, please contact www.1000rrsoles.co.uk. Thank you.
I believe peaches are an early sign of such disorder check your shopping trolley for accidental peach can purchasing one or more are a clear sign of tassel disorder!
Thanks Arthur I ended up going for the first 1 I went to see, and not the 1 I sent you, that 1 is going to go for really funny money. Though to be honest it is by far the best condition bike I've ever seen (even from new). It would be better off in a glass cabinet as a collectors item. I got the other 1 as it needs just a little TLC which I can do during the winter and the fact I got it for a steal with a few extras
Well your the man to bring it back to mint mate and a nice project fair play to you! If I did not have the RED thing I'd have one in a snap!
Details are: Stainless end cans, powercommander and dyno setup, lower gearing to help with running and speedo healer to suit. Hyperpro rear shock and Dan Kyle linkage, rearesets, plus all standard parts. Full years MOT, 6 months tax. Bad bits. A few furry bolts and brake banjos (bolts will be replace and braided lines bought). Apart from that a good spit and polish, and give it a full service, it'll be good as. Oh and the wheels have been stripped and polished. They will be getting powder coated gold ASAP!!
Nice one Colin. Don't forget the photos. Not the same pedigree, but I had a firestorm and loved it. Long low wheelies on power out of corners......priceless!
before i bought the blade i had an Aprilia mille, they are great bikes and had no trouble running it and kept it for years. I too have been hankering after a v twin fix, my mate has an sp1 up for grabs it was previously immaculate w plate but was accident damaged in a coming together on a roundabout with a ford fiesta driven by an idiotic woman. i can get it at a very reasonable price, but it will need a subframe and plastics. but it would make a great track bike.
