he'd just got the bike and only done 80 miles on it - on wet roads, said he was dying to get some hot tarmac and give it a good testing!.
he'd also just got the brand new alpinestars leathers and rukka skins, beltin set of kit - my fines paid for that lol :D

seemed a decent chap tbh.... this was in matlock the other week.
he was saying how the plod were totally against the 50 limits in the area and will not be enforcing them, as long as people arent taking the piss. but they will have you for abusing the solid lines!

personally i think the blade looks ace in them colours! it was originally the red white n blue hrc scheme.

it wsnt wired up when i had a sit on it but from what ive been told it now has blue lights and camera in the headlamps.

I'm dying to see that in Derbyshire... Hopefully just for a chat, rather than being pulled over by it haha.

I bet it will have larger chicken strips than most, and you'd still not out run it. My fiancé dad is ex police of varying levels, he taught me and is effortlessly rapid, no unecessary hanging or risky lines, just smooth.

I note Plod's Boss's have gone for the Non-ABS Bike.

Like the fact that the Graphics Dept's have left the HRC sticker in situ and fitted a rear race pillion seat cowl!

I know what you mean, I went from the 600 to 929 then the 06 1000rr and the power over each evolution was night and day. The 1000 pulls your arms off but the electronic damper is a must. I had a tank slapped on my 929 and scared me to death. I would advise getting a damper for your blade if you like going hard.

Cheers. I will!! Finally managed to get a test drive on a 2012 blade at the weekend. I have seen two 2012 new ABS blades that I would be interested in buying. Ideally looking to sell my nearly new Street Triple - i shall let her run for one more week on ebay & if not one of the dealers will offer me a decent trade-in.
