Cow shit road ? Its a bit different from the local and English version .Dont worry Al that sucker will be singing like Tom jones lol.
Not sure 50 quid would get it done dude . Although I can't change it the dealer will have to take the wheels off and strip all the bits out then remove the tyres and deliver the wheels to the powder coaters ( Not painting) they will have to be treated and then coated and then the process of refitting will need doing and if you think it should cost about 20 quid if you took a loose tyre for fitting to your wheel this is x4 ie 2 off and 2 back on so overall even if its about 200 sheets it doesn't sound outrageous .
Also some good footage from my Blade of a few GIxer 750's going over the N260 to Sort - 2010 Thursday - Spain day on Vimeo THe orange bike is quicker on this road than anything else that year - 2 weeks after we got back it was stolen..
I think we should start a poll to see if Giv stays Personally I hate traitors and think we should stone him!
hope you enjoy youre new toy giv,and hopefully you will stick around on here with us 'big bike riders'
hmmm - if i didnt have a blade id do the gixer, so in that respect i understand but i have to say it .... youll be back, youll miss the class
Yea we get our wheels powder coated here for about 70 quid a pair, but as you say we have too remove discs, tyres, bearings etc then replace again inc new bearings so 200 quid isn't that bad IMO
Giv I can't believe you are changing bikes. Anyhow I hope to see you out on the Fireblade runs in the future.
If your changing then the gixer is a good choice, I,m like you always looking for my next ride, there's only one colour for gixers and you have got it. It will be interesting to see Suzuki back in moto GP. Don't forget the pics Giv can't wait to see it.
No probs Explorer and will do some photos " Although a blue and white Gixer " might need some photo shop work to make it look interesting Ha! But once I get the goodies on and a few stickers then this may be a different story Gulp! .
Flippin' eck, Giv. Just seen this Hope you enjoy the new bike but I also hope you stick around on here. The northern runs wouldn't be the same without you.
