Well................... i tried to fit mine tonight and found that the front lines have the ferrells 180 degrees out, no way can i twist the lines to get them to fit. 2 bl**dy hours and they are wrong? Even compared to the standard lines the fittings are out by 180 degrees. B*ll*cks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! who made these? because they sure did not check them? I now have no bike to ride in the morning as i was going to the Goodwood breakfast club meet. And before people say have you tried this and that................. yes i bl**dy have!!!!!!!
Great product if only it fitted?

Thats why I stopped using that type of line because I have had a few lines that needed twisting to fit . I now use Venhill lines because you can nip them up when you have them just where you want them .

Just watched Venhill's Powerhose Plus clip on YouTube.

Got to admit it does look impressive, but I must add I have had no problems with my HEL lines to date.

Well I blooming hope mine fit when I try them as will be well unhappy if they've been made wrong! I was going to go with venhill in the first place but the group buy was too good a deal to miss out on. I'll let you know if they fit in the next couple of days, fingers crossed.

    Hi Guys,

May I ask are you running a standard master cylinder or an aftermarket item?

We had this issue once before with one customer. It turned out that they where fitting the banjos incorrectly at the master cylinder. But not to worry you can easily rotate the banjo on the brake line yourself, even with it being swagged.

You can see how to do this on our youtube site HEL Brake Lines - Voice Over Brake Line Swaging And Crimping - YouTube

I'm sorry that you seem not to be happy, like I say its not been an issue before. And the original specs are actually provided to us by Honda UK.

Having dealt with other brands and products, I know that the HEL lines are definately the most secure. I know people that have issues with screw in fittings failing. Also they aren't stainless.

If you do want to talk to us, give me a call on 028 9185 9335 as per invoice and we'll be happy to advise. We are here to help.

    Cheers

Yes i was going to give Hel the the chance of rectifying the problem i have, but i was upset that a trial fitting did not go well and i unded up coming out my garage at 1 AM!! I am indeed running the standard master cylinders and calipers. The main problem is that the upper banjo fittings are 180 defrees out on the master cylinder and you cannot fit them upside down because they foul the brake light switch and no way can i twist them without them almost collapsing. I will watch the video to see and report back. Thank You. PS this was no intention to put the company down in a public forum.

Let me know how you get on.

    It's not a common problem.

    Cheers
