I stand by my assertion. Whether you're taking the single or double entendre route :D

Well I've just been and bought the HJC Spies one. Not quite sure yet whether it's the one with the one with the red top or the grey because they're having to order it in.

I can't believe how light the thing is. Massive difference between that and my Arai. Might have to persuade the EPS down with my thumb ever so slightly to get it fit perfectly front to back but it's by far the most comfy of all the ones I've tried. If you've got a rugby ball bonce and you're in the market for a new lid then I'd suggest you give it a whirl.

Well I went ahead and bought the HJC Spies one. Albeit with the grey background to the star instead of the red. Just had my first ride out with it tonight and I'm impressed. Off the bike it feels a little bit flimsy when compared to my Arai but on the bike I'd have to give the nod to the HJC. It's sooo light it almost feels like you're not wearing a helmet. Head checks feel an awful lot easier and it feels more stable at speed. It's also tonnes quieter than the Arai.

    Very pleased with my purchase!
