I have this on anything above 100 with the Padock type of jacket which a use a bit in winter so i can get a couple of layers under it .But same helmet with leathers its all good so have you changed your jacket?
Funny this post should appear because today was the 1st proper ride i have had on the blade for a few months and mine was doing the same, the gf was on the back and complained of exactly the same thing. i did wonder if it was because i was wearing quite a loose Alpinestars overjacket over my one one piece leathers which was flapping around a bit.
Have tried it and it won't work just gets worse must be the clobber get some tight fitting gear and have a do .
been out on another bike today did over 200 miles and no vibrating helmet.............so whats the deal why did it do it on the Blade
I get vibrating shoulders at high speed with textile jacket on but not with leathers. On mine it is better now I have a higher screen, but still get it a bit at high speed. I have noticed over the years that wind direction can play a part with airflow and vibration. Also a bit different sometimes if helmet vents are open or closed. If I tuck in then no probs at any speed, but of course that is not too comfy, necessary if I want to be particularly quick though.
Found the source of the problem. Just nipped out for a quick 30 minute ride to see if I could work out the source of the problem. Wore exactly the same kit, minus my fleece, and hey presto, no weird vibrating helmet. Who would have thought it! Sent from my BlackBerry 9780 using Tapatalk
