You're probably right Don't forget Bazzas got some hideous cheap chinese rear sets on though not the oem
The rear master cylinder has a circlip to attach the fluid pipe union that the pipe from the fluid reservoir is attached to. Not sure if they are be a bit smaller than the one in your picture though, and can't imagine it just coming off.
That's not a circlip. That's a spring hose clip you're thinking of I think. Just had a good look round my bike and can't see where that might have come from. Thanks very much for giving me the excuse to take the covers off and have a bit of garage time with her though. She's been in hibernation for about 8 weeks now.
Yea I know. She needs new tyres though and I wanted to put them on fresh in the spring. Also I've been busy tidying up and riding my winter hack.
You're friggin' kidding me. THAT's a winter hack? Kudos to you. That's lounge room material to me, and that's top ranking on my scale of desirability. (For your interest, second is in the shed, and third is outside under cover. Forth would be @bazzashadow 's BSA) But truly, Charlie, for the past 2 winters I've cranked on about getting a winter hack, but I can't seem to find something that's nice for good money - and not through want of trying. I have so many eBay alerts it's like the buzzing sound of airport X-ray terminals during Colombian drug runners flight transfers.
Helping out @derchef 's info, it's here at part 17 - inside of brake pedal. https://www.fowlersparts.co.uk/parts/5828019/cbr1000rr-abs-fireblade/pedal
