    The blade tank is a plastic cover? But sure it'd still affect the paint? Trick is not to spill it.

    Agree with Arthur, tried dot 5, seemed a little better an slightly less fade, but went off quicker... Dot 4 for normal riding and average track sessions is more than fine.

    Not sure what the synthetic is though?? Only ever known it a 4 or 5?

    Yup I agree ... try not to spill it ... but accidents happen

    Dot 5 is more sensitive to moisture thats why it goes off quicker ... as for synthetic unless you top it up with water :eek:/ then no probs

    But would the fact the blades tank being plastic go in it's favour?

    Cheers though nutz, I'll check out some synthetic - see what the crack is.

    Well the paint is still vunerable .. dunno if the plastic would resist the brake fluid better than the alloy tank I had .
