Fookin ell!!! Welcome to my world......enjoy the stay. Chin up mate, and grit ya teeth, things CAN get worse.
Thats £1500 -£320.00 which is in the Tank now so the total is a loss of £1180.00 so whilst not wanting to be flippant you appear to have a good job on the Sub Mains and from what you say can earn a decent crust at weekends with the Camera so get your head back on track and have a go (Thats assuming you are still keen) .The thing is with bikes you meet some new people have good crack on here ,also theres nothing like a good ride out to blow the cobwebs away when you have had a crumby week so to say.Good luck with your decision either way dude!.
Barney, you're over thinking it. If it takes you a little while longer to save up, as the economy continues to contract, you'll end up getting a better deal. Do what I did. Walk in to a dealership 30 minutes before closing time on the last day of January (severely hungover & grumpy wife, and crying child optional), don't be afraid to ask & you'll get your deal. Or just lower your sights slightly, and get something sooner.
I would hate to think this is a forum where it would matter what year of blade you had as long as you enjoyed it!
