Hi Flathead, I'm. Away with the family at the moment and come back on Friday. I can post a decent pic when I come back. I got the link pipe and mounting kit from spengineering for £69 plus postage, they do a full kit including exhaust for about £180 but I'd already bought a carbon can off ebay, then I bought a yoshimura exhaust sticker yo complete the lie ;)

No worries mate. Clever thinking there :)

Reason I ask is that I thought it was the Akra for the CB1000R and I was wondering how it behaved on the blade as both Akrapovic and their UK distributor, Performance Parts, were very noncommittal on its suitability. Think it would look fantastic on my Black and Gold one though.

Here's how it looks on the CB1000R.

    Enjoy your hols.

Originally it had the taylormade, looked great but it drove me mad so I got shut and replaced it with a Leo Vince SBK. But I ended up getting bored of it and wanted something different. I got inspiration from watching wsbk and Jonathan Rea's termi. Couldn't justify that cost so I thought I'll just recreate the look. Found a Blue Flame carbon can on ebay and the rest was history. Apparently most cans have a 2 inch diameter inlet so I was pretty sure the link pipe from spengineering was going to fit. I was very relieved when it did

    Hi,

Back of hols now and got decent internet so I've uploaded a better photo of my Repsol, don't care if no one likes what I've done with the exhaust, I love it and that's all that matters :D

Thanks for enlarging the pic of your bike for me cbrman74. I'm with you and think that looks awesome too. Good job mate. How did it run before the previous dyno run?

I'd had it dyno'd for the Leo Vince SBK exhaust and pipercross airfilter, I'd have to dig the dynograph out for the actual numbers but they all went up :p that much I do remember. But I could only compare with the taylormade which looses power. Hopefully they can sort out the flat spot, which isn't too bad if I have the baffle in. Glad you like it, had mixed comments from friends.
