Pfffft, I'd rather have low miles than a ton of motorway miles!:p

Every time we go abroad all I want to do is the twisties, does my head in if whoever is leading takes us via motorway, especially as we've done the routes beforehand..

Agree with Ray mate. Roads have been mega busy this week, been on a 60 mile round trip today and no end of vehicles out. (Just to note this was a business trip to my friend to pick up machining needed doing - not a flounce!)

There has been loads of bikes out and about near me. I'm not comfortable with heading up to the borders and giving it some but I can see myself having a little 20 minute tickle at some point in the next week or so.

I went out last Sunday for some essential supplies and saw a few bikes around and lots of cyclists

Now the rain has finally washed the salt of the roads I am tempted to go out again this weekend but maybe a slightly longer ride I will be keeping away from the main roads and will be out early and on my own before the roads get to busy.

I'm seriously tempted also.....but I'm going to hold out. I've lasted this long, another week isn't going to kill me. There will be changes to the rules next week, what they are exactly who knows. I'm expecting them to say it's ok to make visits to family etc aslong as both sets have been isolating and are without symptoms etc. That'll be my green light.

Go to route is Bellingham, Kielder, Hawick. Home via the same route or just back down past Carter Bar if I'm knackered.

Do you do the route to Rothbury from the otterburn road? Only done that one a handful of times but always had a big moment whether its water running off the fields or gravel o_O I stay off it as I think I'm cursed lol.
