Yeah i found I needed to put the fog insert in , been out today and is never fogged up at all , so quiet as well as lite . Followed @PauloHRC today to listen to his new sp go through the gears with the quick shifter but couldn't hear it so yeah a brill helmet
Just open it up when the weather gets better you can't hurt it say 9 to 10k revs nothing to over the top...
Running in my MT10 I tried to keep it under 6k but after 500 miles, the odd foray into 7 or 8 k land was ok.
But you wear ear plugs don't you? These bikes only roar over 3,500 rpm. Paul's already said he was taking it easy, but I suspect it was over-easy until the 600 service.
Only ever worn ear plugs on motorway with my old helmet , no need with my hjc-r-pha 11, sooo quiet or my hearing might be fooked
The guy who rides with me said It screams between shifts although a change at 9k revs comes from years of having 600 use 5th or 6th very rarely....or if just purring on the motorway but not on A roads...
Size XL converted to XXL (I think) The XL was a bit tight so ordered the XXL liner thingamajig - in the hope that swapping the liners over would do the trick, as the shell sizes are the same. Well, I think it has worked as it does seem more comfortable. As soon as I tried it on I could tell there was an improvement. The liner is simple to install - but even easier if the dealer does it while you wait Cost about £30
