My mate had one when they first came out. Bought for cash and he had it back to the stealers 3 times for an intermittent ABS fault which they could not cure even after changing the wheels. He tried to reject the bike after the third time but they wouldn't agree. The last time it tried to spit him off mid corner. He lost all faith in the brand. They treated him like shit because it was paid for!!! If if was on finance he would have had the backing of the finance company!! I would not give BMW my money following the issues he had and his treatment.

My mate has had one from brand new ... The carbon version. No issues and its sublime ... Absolutely stunning. So much better than the 2015 version imho.

My mate also has one and from new and he says he'll never sell it , he absolutely loves it. He had a new 15 S1000RR for a weekend and he's now gonna get one as he reckons they're easier to ride quick than the HP4. The new 15 's have most of the technology of the HP4 but are very common whereas the HP4 was made in limited numbers and will always be desirable.

    Gray farts blue bubbles! :D

The hp4 is similar to the blades SP both made in limited numbers..........eh no wait that's not rite is it Honda realised exclusivity sells better so decided not to actually stop building them once they hit the original total limited figure! ;)

But the H4 still looks stunning, it's a shame some people have experienced issues with them! I'm sticking with the blade for least another year, and got a whole heap of upgrades coming so should keep it fresh and entertaining ...

Hi, does anybody know who makes that carbon rear hugger please? It's a work of art!

    Thanks, Martin

I nearly bought a new HP4 Carbon back in 2014, absolutely superb bike, all the mods over the std bike makes a huge difference and makes the bike feel special.

2015 std bike just doesn't compare

Would love one in my garage however the new Aprilia RSV4 is currently on the top of my wish list.

I thought the 2015- bm was basically the hp4,but with even better electronics, chassis and air intake mods, bar the m50 calipers, akky system+wheels?

if I was in the market, for the price,i'd be going for the 2015,but they hp4's do look very nice.

Yes that's the hype from BMW however when you ride both bikes.................................. the HP4 feels far superior
