I had a quote off them to do mine... £160 inc custom cover, and you need a seat too. That was in alcantara and leather with an embroidered logo.

Well recieved my HRC throttle kit yesterday and I am so chuffed with stuart, all the bits there and £51 delivered fantastic :)

Spent last night in the garage fitting the kit which went very smoothly, which suprised me as it is supposed to be a real pig to get the lower throttle cable on, but luckily it took 2 mins.
I found that if you locate the cable end in the hole, pressing it in with a long screwdriver and then use the snipe nose pliers to pull the cable up to locate the wire :)

I can't take credit for this but it is a very good guide and helped me out with the install:

08+ HRC Quick Action Throttle Install : Honda CBR 1000RR Motorcycle Forums: 1000RR.net

I will have to wait for a dry day to go test it now, only question I have is how much throttle movement should you have before you get movement I have set about 2mm is that ok or should I give myself a little more slack ??

Hello Jamie, thank you very much for your purchase, The Honda manual states there should be 2 - 6mm of throttle freeplay.

    Cheers
    Stu

Finally got out on the bike at the weekend so I thought I would report back on the Throttle :)

It is fantastic, as expected on the bike you can get 100% throttle comfortably, unlike when I was at cadwell and I had to virtually break my wrist or move my hand to get it fully open and I love it.

Also it is no less manageable at lower revs around town etc, I was a little worried that it would of lost some of the finesse and control at lower revs, but I should not of worried as it is still spot on and as smooth as ever, it also has the added bonus of popping up in second off the clutch a lot more easily as it climbs the revs in the mid range more quickly :)

It is quite an involved job stripping the bike, changing the cables etc but in my opinion very worth while, I hope this helps anyone thinking of fitting one I would recommend it :)

Many thanks for the brilliant comments, I hope it continues to impress and is well worth the money. Unfortunately for others the price has now risen slightly but is still affordable and competitive with others, many thanks for the feedback hope you continue to enjoy!

    Regards Stu.

Het the hrc kit complete with cables. The standards will not fit. They reduce the full throttle angle to 60deg instead of 70. Stops wrist ache big time.;)

Hi Stu, whats the new price please? I had this mod on the R1 although I only had to change the barrel to the 04 model. Made it so much better but the blade is 10 times worse!
