Hello Crin, i can do it for £65 delivered, If you do wish to purchase please give me a call on 01524 60011 Regards Stu,
Hi Stuart ! I got the Oxford Heated Sports Grips ( Codes OF696 Sports HotGrips ) already installed on my bike ( SC59 – 2011 ) and I would like to keep them ( I love it ). Do you think that I still could use them (remove and attached again) with the HRC Quick Action Throttle Kit? If so, could you make me a price for the HRC Kit, including all the bits I might need to install it (grip glue etc. ) Thanks!
here are mine... I am over seas right know. Can't wait to get mine fitted, unfortunately probably end of May or beginning of June..
HRC QA's are not the quickest out there. I have one and it's not quicke enough, as i've always ran Robby Moto QA's on the biggest cam. Even on the biggest cam, it's controllable. It never feels difficult and would be fine on the road i'd say. I am going to be getting another Robby Moto one. Also look out for twin or single cable venhill QA's as they're good and quick, quicker than HRC's also. Bogno
Get one ASAp Dan. You will never ever own a bike without one once you've had one! 2 things i NEED on any bike from day one, before i even ride a lap, QA throttle and stomp grips.
Hmmmm.... D'ya think I could be trusted with a QA throttle? I tend to jump on and wring it's neck.....?
I'm not going to state the obvious, cos you're a mate and life's hard enough as it is, but I think you might have answered your own question dude...
I s'pose I really ought to see if I can get my mitts on one. Be rude not to while the bike's in bits.
No matter what you think you do, your eyes and head control your hand, so even if you think you'll jump on and go quicker cos it's quicker action, your head will just tell your hand to operate at your heads limit, so you'll still ride the same. Unless you're a total bellend, which hardly anyone is! Whether you think so or not, your head and eyes always rule your speed! On the road it'd work fine, although despite what i've just said above, i'd probably not bother if i had a road bike, because you're never full throttle on the road. On track, you open to full throttle when in corners and on exits very quickly, still hanging off the bike, and you end up tying your arm in knots getting enough twist on an OEM throttle, which is why these are so good. They reduce your movement so much and allow you to blip much better too on down changes. On the road i'd probably just get a Hary R's or something rather than spending £100 on a Robby moto or something. But then again, if it's for the looks of it, it's only the wife you need to keep the price from...
