If I could mate Id have one and a S1000rr haha, but yeah I'd love one!

That system is the full WSB Ti race system from arrow, it sound amazing! Lots to cut away to make it fit, plus some spacers etc required to fit the mount...sounds so good it makes me sick....lol

I don't doubt the SP is a great bike though but it isn't a great everyday bike it falls down hard there that is fact I know I used mine everyday since I've owned it. It may well be better than an S1 for some people but IMO the s1 suits my riding style better and to be fair you've ridden a 2012 s1 go ride a 14 s1 the difference is massive it's as smooth as the SP the demo I rode had no flat spots at all. It's all horses for courses really I liked the SP fantastic bike but I love the S1 that's the difference for me plus riding in all weathers it's got the better kit for the job and even on the standard S1 you get a Brembo rear caliper something you didn't get on the SP which pissed me off no end.

Agree, all I would say to you is keep an eye on the BMW for corrosion as they are years behind Yamaha and Honda, the S1's I have been looking aft have suffered badly and they are summer use only, one was so bad it has had to go back to the dealers for loom etc etc, only done 15k miles but looks worse than a 60k Honda! I only say so you can keep your guard up and look after your bike, the design problems like ECU location and upper injector pools with water are a problem IMO, also corrosion around throttle bodies etc would worry me for a year round use, keep on top of that and you have a great bike. :). Hope it works out well for you..

Yeah I will be keeping a close eye on that buddy friends of mine with the s1 have had sumps replaced. I'll take good care of it though that's for sure. All I would say is keep the SP out of the wet stuff otherwise you'll have paint runs everywhere as I did on mine. Also watch the standard tail unit mine fell apart after just 5 weeks....

I can't see how that would happen as the Kwak is lighter than the Blade and 8-10 Bhp up on it as well.

Performance Bike did a head to head test conducted by Michael Rutter around Mallory I think and the SP was less than a second quicker than the standard 2014 ZX10.

If the Kwack had had £2.5K worth of Ohlins, some nice shiny Brembo's and some decent tyres (the ZX tyre were toss compared to the Diablo Supercorsa's on the SP) to equal the playing field then the consensus was the Kwack would have been ahead by some margin.

Know what your saying mate, my man with his old s1 would give the 10r a fair run for its money, since getting the sp he has proven that the 10r seems to be lacking off the line, take into account this is on the road and not flat out, perhaps if he posts here he can enligten us more to how this can be, he told me he did join thw forum :)

To be fair Arthur I agree as far as road riding goes.

Although my ZX aint the lastest version it is quicker top end and than my Blade, however that's riding at Track Day pace and not dropping below 7-8K revs.

On the road the Blades superior low and mid range torque makes for the better road bike and also allows it to be launched off the line better too.

If your talking about levelling the playing field by giving the zx Ohlins etc then surely the bkade engine gets a tune to gain the 10 horses it's lacking..sure the blade will keep its 1 second a lap quicker :D

I recently saw a comparison dyno chart that showed the blade made more power and torque than the ZX10 right up until the blades power peaked. Only then did the ZX10 make more power. This suggests the blade makes a better road bike IMO.

You could well be right but looking at how much that SP in the stockers was bouncing around today at oulton park I would say the zx10 makes a better track bike just looking at the field in that championship at least 50% were zx10's... Was surprised not to see any yams in there...

Tt is the big test. Hillier on his zx10 is one to watch. He may upset the favourites this year

Well my man had another race of the line today and the old 10R may need a tune up....lol (so I am told again) haha..

The stockers in the TT will be interesting, seems Mr Honda has been to work on the SP so we shall see...then we can argue who is the better rider...lol

    Nice stacks Mr SP :D
