I hear there are some good deals on these 'old out-dated Beemers' now the new Super Slaying one's on the horizon for next year which makes the old one feel like a bag O spanners!
JamiePanzer ? To explain above, these are my mates bikes, and their own comments! The chap with the 'Shed' also owns a Panzer, but has a hand injury so finding it hard to ride at present hence his touring 'shed'
Always fancied one, very clean bike had 10 and 13 blade, yamaha, Ducati and just thought I'd try something different
Jamie regarding QS I personally would stick with the stock QS I tried both Hm plus and the GP and couldn't get them working right didn't matter what set up I used the bike always lunged and I felt it was doing more harm than good unlike the blade which is silky smooth with HM on, I went back to the stock Shifter from advise from the likes of Phil Crowe who road races he uses the stock shifter along with a few lads in Thundersport GP 1 and they all told me stick with Stock .i have found the stock shifter works great especially on track.
Jamie have you ever thought about hiring a bike??? Would prob work out cheaper in long run...... Oh as to the new name to save the mods gettin repetitive strain injuries they would be better off just callin you jamiesomebikemodel!
Fellow 14B owner! May I recommend an ECU flash. This lets you apply a new throttle map, which further increases brutality, whilst reducing jerky initial on/off throttle syndrome. It also lets you change everything else (eg, speedo reading, fan temp, variable intake, throttle map, fuel map, engine braking, etc, etc). And for the comfort seeker, Graves rearsets have sorted mine right out. Used to get hip pain after half an hour, now gone as have lowered pegs slightly.
my mrs wouldnt even notice the difference, took her a few days to notice that I had changed from the R1 to the Blade ('all look the same to me' she said)
