feel for you mate, but your not thee first to do this!! think remal has a similar story to tell. 08+ nose cones are w$nk...fact... my first one split within 500 miles from a stone chip, had replaced and within another 300 miles the new one cracked and stones actually went straight through it like bullet holes... they are far too brittle for my liking, proper shite quality if you ask me. not what you would expect from the mighty honda lol
The 2009 front cowl isn't much better ... mines cracked in about 3 places from stones .... My old 2008 cbr600f would never have broken like that Was sat looking at three newish Hondas yesterday and there build quality now is pish
Hopefully you'll have better luck with the next one, i'm hardly surprised they said it wasn't faulty when you'll need to buy another from them!
