Maybe a section in the forum for members only... most forums have this... means there is a non-public place we can discuss things, like world domination, without the prying eyes of google taking note. Also, when viewing a section and seeing all the threads, it would be handy if on the right, where it shows who created the thread, it also showed the date the thread was started.

Just having another look at this and thought, all I need is a red nose, some big shoes, a squirty flower, some springy braces and a funny walk and I'd look like a clown. Then I thought nah! a crash helmet with the Australian flag would do it.
I've just messaged Remal to suggest it would be good to bring together the touring / country info. on routes / hotels / ferries etc. - so if you are thinking of heading to an area you can see who has been and their ideas. Just noticed a good number off here actually use their bikes - even tips about the IOM for an off season visit etc. would be good to have listed somewhere.
Good idea mate - maybe sticky at the top of touring for each country so people can put up routes, hotels etc as you say. Would be well handy for me planning trips each year.
How about an in-built MOT reminder? Perhaps most people are more organised than I, but I have forgotten once again... been riding around for 2 months with no MOT
usure how that would be done but via a calender of some sorts. its a idea but also worth putting in your diary. i have to sort out Mot, tax, insurance for my bike, kit car the wifes car, my daily drive, my mum and gran. now that can get frustrating very often
