Can’t see it being anything to do with the gearing. I’ve definitely come across people that have swapped out exhaust that end up developing vibe issues, especially surrounding the mounting point usually associated with the right hand foot peg. I’ve had an identical issue with one of the SC exhausts that clamps to the back of the original mounting point via a small bracket, once installed it turns the whole hanger and foot peg into some kind of torture device. Hideous! I did away with it and had zero issues with vibes now. It’s still 100% secure. I can only think they designed it for security in case the the main exhaust clamp fails and the can comes flying off. Mines tight and lock wired to secure fixing so no chance of that happening….

If the exhaust mounted to the front footpeg assembly I'd suspect it was the culprit too, but is doesn't have a mounting point there, just to the pillion peg like the standard exhaust. I suppose it could be the exhaust header mounting point, but that should have a rubber bung to absorb the vibrations. I'll check it out when I get the chance. I'm suspicious of the CCT given Honda's history, even though there is only 1000 miles on the clock. The design seems a little suspect to me. I'd prefer a properly set up manual CCT.

I see you have changed the footpegs. Which ones did you go for?

I think I'd have to say that bike is beautiful. Love the tank colours.

They came off my old blade, then on a few bikes after that. Rizoma ones, really compact and well made, but most of all super grippy. The pegs are the same for all model’s, you just change the adapter to suit. Will be going down the LighTech road at some point. Just need to check dimensions of the most relaxed position. Hopefully only a few millimetres out from the stock position. The last 2 sets I had were bang on. Definitely don’t need more extreme :D
