When it's not threatening to be under water yes mate. Everything between Topsham and Exminster in the picture is the flood plain of the estuary and when we get wet years the whole area swells up like a loaf in the oven. My drive is quite long and a single concrete slab. But the movement of the ground in the area means that geology students use it as a predictive model of tectonic plate arrangement.
We've got one of those little cast iron patio sets. They're a lot more comfortable than they look. Right Dave?
Well I done my usual tonight... We took a walk along the river to my local (ish, actually my 2nd closest) and had four of their finest heinekens... God bless the coopers arms. Est 1542!
I was watching the same sun set over Haldon hill as I was pulling my helmet back on to come home from the bike night. I always wait for it to set else I'm riding directly into it all the way home. I'm back in my beer chair now in the pitch black with a nightcap of mr jacks finest medicine. And it's still 20 degrees out here.
Yeah... I love that quaint little garden in the old rooftops of historic Rochester!! The views inside are better
Just got back from a couple of days away and assembled one of Jeanette's birthday presents. So the beer chair just got a lot more comfy, and thus, by definition used much, much more.
I am.....as the thread title suggests and will remain here indefinitely today. I've got them in so I'm now off to 'Wine O' Clock'.
