Let’s hope you don’t have to use them as they were worse than useless when I had a my accident to the point I even paid for the accident report as they wouldn’t.

I guess like any insurance you never want to put it to the test.

Bemoto wouldn’t quote me in the end so I asked our company broker if he could sort a policy out, it’s took over two months and he’s come back and said he can’t sort a policy for me, I was talking about it in my local bike shop and they mentioned Peter James insurance, they’ve put all 15 of my bikes on one policy for £1900 and it took a day for them to sort it for me, four of them were on chassis numbers where all the other companies wouldn’t consider it.

So, having taken the insurance out with Bennetts for
Carrying on, having taken the insurance with Bennetts at just shy of £212 (policy started 25th July - a week and a day ago) because BeMoto wanted £307 to renew, I’m now wanting to add a second bike. I’d discussed probably wanting to add one with the Bennett’s dude and been told that wont be a problem.

Jump to today and I’ve bought a Tiger 1050 for doing the NC500, called Bennetts to say I want the second bike adding from 12/08 when I pick it up only too be told, sorry sir but your provider doesn't do a multi bike option. You’ll have to cancel, your refund is £182 (for cover to change date and admin fee deduct) then its £487 for your new policy. That okay to proceed ? Hang on - your guy said it was fine to add a second bike o_O. Sorry, we’ve no record of that, AXA dont do it, tough.:mad::mad: Leave it with me says I.

Called BeMoto and long story short I’m back with them for both bikes from today, with all the whistles and bells cover again for £364 (only £57 more than they wanted just for the blade renewal o_O). Significantly cheaper than the Bennetts offering, not that I’d of stayed with them after this.

Back to Bennetts. Cancel the policy with immediate effect please, got a little more back due to shorter cover (£189) but no moving them for the admin fee or any kind of good will. Just a sorry and probably a lesson for me in future to get everything in writing sir. What about your we record all calls warning - I can give you date and time? That’s for internal use only - sorry.
Wankers :mad: @raphael was right me thinks.
Anyway - got the second bike now and looking forward to some slower miles round the top of Scotland. The glass is still half full.

Bennet’s have never given me a good quote in thirty years of riding, I had seven bikes with Carole Nash and they wanted to put my policy up £350 this year and with my h2 added they wanted another £500 so were told the big no, I went with Peter James insurance in the end and had all my other bikes added including track bikes taking it to fifteen bikes on one policy for £1900, around £250,000 worth of bikes so I thought it was good value.

To be fair, fifteen bikes and a wife are probably mutually exclusive.

Got mine this week from Ridersure. £204 fully comp £500 xs, no voluntary xs, underwritten by Aviva. That's £50 less than last year for same policy, Just a continuation. Smiling here. :)
