    You say that you were paying £300 for the 10 plate with your insurance company, what did they quote you for the 12 that made you cancel?

    I traded old one in october they had bike then I didn't want new one till march. I let it run and didn't renew in november because I didn't have a bike but renewal was 300 now they want nearly a 1000 I have compared it on internet and got it down to 700 but I can't believe.2012 over 2010 would make any differance let alone this much

    Try adding it to the car policy (if you have one) I have a multi vehicle policy, changed the Blades last year when it came in at nearly £800

    Will try that but I am a driving instructor and only car I have is with a specialist driving school broker
